The project is located under the 40-meter red-line road at Wangfujing Street of Dongcheng District of Beijing. Started in the north at the designed starting point of the right line of the third-stage Metro Line 8, the project reaches the north side of the intersection of Dongdansantiao Street in the south. Using the subway dewatering engineering pilot tunnel as the main structure on east and west sides of Wangfujing Subway North Station, the project adopts the underground excavation method to install two parallel trunk and tributary pipe racks. The trunk pipe rack is as long as 1856.70 meters or so, and the tributary pipe rack stretches 47.00 meters, with 21 sets of branch vertical shafts built. 

Cabins stand symmetrically on both sides, with upper and lower floors inside each cabin. The upper floor is used as the power cabin and emergency escape tunnel and the lower floor as the multi-purpose cabin.Pipelines entering the racks include 110kV and 10kV power cables, water supply pipeline, communication pipeline and heating pipeline, with recycled water pipeline reserved.The hoisting mouth and ventilation opening of the pipe racks have been built close to the accessory structures of the subway station；the monitoring center is situated  underground to utilize the extended 3-span space at the north end of the major subway structure to realize the interconnection of ground surface, monitoring center and the pipe racks through the accesses on both sides，
