The planned area is the area of 180 square kilometers in central urban district as is prescribed in Overall Urban Planning of Anqing (2010-2030), including：central cluster, eastern cluster, western cluster, Baize Lake cluster, new town in the north, Yangqiao cluster and Wuheng cluster.

According to the planning of the central urban district of Anqing, a total length of 75.7 kilometers of comprehensive pipe racks are to be built from 2016 to 2030. Of the total pipe racks, the trunk pipe racks will be 57.2 kilometers long, the tributary pipe racks will be 15.8 kilometers long, and the cable pipe racks will be 2.7 kilometers long.
