The project is located in the major city area of Hunbei of Shenyang and is as long as about 12.6 kilometers. Section 1 starts from the green belt on the north side of the West Wenti Road by the South Canal and ends at the Youth Park and is as long as 4.52 kilometers.

The shield construction method has been adopted for the project construction. The structure is a shield round structure with the internal diameter being 5.4 meters to form two parallel pipe racks. 29 nodal wells have been set up, and the emergency exits（also used as personnel exits）, ventilation pavilion, exhaust air pavilion, hoisting mouth and the branch pipeline outlets have been integrated organically to realize all the functions of subsidiary facilities at nodal wells.Pipelines entering the pipe racks include 10kV power cables, communication pipeline, water supply pipeline, recycled water pipeline, heating pipeline and natural gas pipeline, with brackets reserved for power cables and communication pipeline.
