 Employees’ Forum on Issuance of UCD Commemorative Coin Successfully Held

On the morning of Mar. 1st, UCD’s forum of commemorative coin issuance was successfully held among the company’s employees at Meeting Room 501. UCD’s General Manager Wang Hanjun, Party Chief Li Guoqing, Deputy Party Chief & Trade Union Chairperson Mi Jianzhou, Deputy General Manager Wan Xuehong and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection Li Siguo attended the forum on behalf of UCD leaders. More than 40 employee representatives, including those from the company’s functional departments, business divisions, institutes and subsidiaries who have worked in the company for 5, 10 or 20 years, were present at the forum. UCD’s HR Chief Wu Dan presided over the forum.

The forum held on a yearly basis is aimed at maintaining a platform for communication between UCD employees and the company’s leaders, and is intended to motivate and appreciate the employees’ protracted efforts and contributions to the company as well as strengthen the sense of belonging and the sense of honor among the employees through the issuance of the commemorative coins.

When the forum started, HR Chief Wu Dan gave an introduction to the original intention, significance and course of the coin issuance. Then, leaders of the company were invited to issue the coins to the employee representatives present at the forum. The coins were issued for a total of 284 times.

On the heels of the coin issuance, leaders of the company had amiable talks with the employee representatives. During the talks, the employee representatives took the floor actively, reviewing in retrospect the course of their personal growth with the company, sharing their feelings and experiences, giving thanks to the company for granting them a broad platform for personal development, voicing their good wishes for the steady growth of the company’s whole industry chains, and uttering their steadfast determination of serving the enterprise, putting customers first and being committed to hard work. At the forum, leaders of the company also solicited opinions from the employee representatives as to the development of the company and said they would conscientiously analyze and actively adopt their valuable suggestions.

After the employee representatives finished their talks, leaders of the company exchanged and shared their views with them, and expressed their good wishes and encouragement to the employees for their vocational development.

At the forum, Party Chief Li Guoqing said the issuance of commemorative coins coagulates the sweat of arduous efforts made by the employees to the company and that the development of UCD is inseparable to the contributions and solicitude made and shown to and for the growth of the company by UCD people generation by generation. He added that UCD is home to all its employees, that its employees have worked with concerted efforts and have witnessed the prosperity of the home, and that the home is also working hard incessantly to realize its employees’ development and expectations. He said that the company is the carrier of its employees’ careers, that the company devotes itself to providing its employees with resources and energetic support, and that the company’s intake of various kinds of talented people has laid a foundation for the expected efforts and advancement of UCD people.

At the end of the forum, General Manager Wang Hanjun delivered remarks. He firstly extended his heartfelt thanks and good wishes to the employees making efforts and contributions at all posts. Subsequently, he recalled the road of hard work made by all employees in sixty years’ development of the company. He gave an account of the outstanding achievements scored by UCD in 2017 in all its business sectors and said that the achievements were a benefit of the national policy and social support and stemmed all the more from the employees’ hard work. He pointed out that the company should do all it can to realize the three targets of shareholder satisfaction, social satisfaction and employee satisfaction, and that the company should provide the employees with decent income and a platform for personal development. He said all employees are encouraged to actively offer valuable suggestions to the company to jointly push ahead the growth of the company. He hoped that the employees would carry forward the sense of ownership and work in unity and close cooperation to maintain the growth of UCD generation by generation.

The forum came to a successful close in an ardent and harmonious atmosphere!We hope that, under the correct leadership of the UCD leading group, employees of the company will pool all their strength and work hard in solidarity to write a still more brilliant new chapter of excellence in 2018!
