UCD Recognized as One of the Top 10 ESG Cases Among Beijing’s State-Owned Enterprises
Recently, the Blue Paper on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) of Beijing Municipal State-owned Enterprises (2025) was released, with the Policy Directives through Prefabricated Interior Fit-outs Pioneering New Pathways for Urban Green Development, which was submitted by UCD, as one of the top 10 ESG cases. This is a testament to the company's pioneering practices in ESG.
Against the backdrop of the dual carbon policy and the green transformation of the construction industry, UCD deeply integrated the ESG principles with its enterprise strategies. This award-winning case lays emphasis on the application of prefabricated interior decoration technology in the Beijing Health Preservation · Yishou Jiayuan project, which systematically elaborates on how UCD integrates ESG principles with corporate strategies from the aspects of top-level planning, technological innovation, and process management. The case also highlights the company’s concrete actions and innovative achievements concerning ESG, as well as its comprehensive contributions to environmental, economic, and social benefits. In this case, it offers a practical approach for the green transformation of the construction industry and the upgrading of elderly care services.

The above Blue Paper was compiled and released by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, including ESG cases of pilot state-owned enterprises under municipal administration and municipal state-controlled listed companies. After systematically reviewing the status, developmental stages, and future trends of ESG practices in municipal state-owned enterprises, it seeks to explore new approaches, models, and routes for enhancing their ESG management, with the ultimate goal of offering an actionable "Beijing Model" that can help all state-owned enterprises better fulfill their social responsibilities and achieve high-quality, sustainable development in the new era.
