China's First Set of Data Transaction Series Standards Officially Put into Use

The Implementation Action of Beijing Data Series Standards was launched in Beijing the other day, marking the official implementation of the first set of data transaction series standards in China. Beijing Urban Construction Survey and Design Institute, a subsidiary of UCD, serves as a compilator of the series standards. What’s more, it has been inscribed on the list of pilot organizations of implementing the standards in Chaoyang District of the Beijing Municipal Data Series Standards with the aid of its innovative practical experience in the geological big data sector.

This action was jointly organized by the Beijing Municipal Data Standards Technical Committee, the Beijing International Data Exchange and Chaoyang District. As China’s first data circulation and transaction series standards that have been put into practice, the standard system consists of general guidelines for data transactions, data transaction service guides and data transaction security assessments, providing all-round standard support for regulating data trading.

Recently, Beijing Urban Construction Survey and Design Institute has made constant innovations and breakthroughs in geological big data, and the urban engineering geological big data platform developed by it is available for urban planning and construction, underground resource assessment, underground space development and utilization, urban security operation and maintenance, etc. What’s more, a full-chain technical system of "resource-based, asset-oriented and capital-centered" geological data is established to promote the transformation of underground space geological data from original resources to tradable assets, advancing the success of China's first urban underground space geological big data transaction, thus creating a replicable practical sample for value realization of data elements.
