UCD Party Committee Arranges Party Discipline Learning and Education Work

On April 17, the Party committee of UCD convened a meeting of the leading group for Party building to study the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech and instructions on Party discipline learning and education and to implement the spirit of the Circular of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee on carrying out Party-wide learning and education on Party discipline and the meeting of BUCG's leading group for Party building. In accordance with the requirements of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and the Party committee of BUCG, UCD will arrange the work about Party discipline learning and education.

All members of UCD's leading group for Party building attended the meeting. Zhang Hongyun, deputy Party chief of UCD, conveyed the Implementation Plan on Carrying out Group-wide Party Discipline Learning and Education by the Party committee of BUCG. Pei Hongwei, deputy Party chief and general manager of BUCG and Party chief and chairman of UCD, announced work arrangements and delivered a speech. The meeting was presided over by Wang Hanjun, deputy secretary of the Party committee and general manager of UCD.

It was pointed out at the meeting that the company should lift its political standing and fully recognize the significance of Party discipline learning and education. Party discipline learning and education is an important measure to strengthen the Party discipline construction and vertically exercise full and strict governance over the Party. Party organizations at all levels of UCD should study and implement Xi Jinping's important speech and instructions, gain full insights into and dissect them with reality, have a deep understanding of the decisive significance of establishing Comrade Xi Jinping's core position on the CPC Central Committee and in the Party as a whole, and establishing the guiding role of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, resolutely uphold General Secretary Xi Jinping's core position on the CPC Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and resolutely uphold the Central Committee's authority and its centralized, unified leadership, satisfy the requirements of the central and municipal committees, and deepen the company's Party discipline learning and education. UCD should constantly deepen the understanding of Party discipline and rules, get keenly aware of the critical importance of Party discipline construction, correctly understand the harm of ignoring Party discipline and violating Party discipline, drive Party organizations and leading groups at all levels to strictly grasp the Party discipline construction, lead the majority of Party members and cadres in strengthening the consciousness of abiding by the rules and discipline, and use iron discipline to gather iron will, temper iron style, and forge iron teams, in a bid to gain strong momentum to become a design-leading integrated service provider for urban construction.

It was stressed at the meeting that the company should grasp objectives and requirements, and complete the key tasks about Party discipline learning and education with high standards and high quality. Party members, especially cadres, should carefully study the Regulations on CPC Disciplinary Action to know and follow discipline, keep it in mind and act with it, further strengthen the sense of discipline, reinforce self-restraint, improve immunity, and enhance their willpower in politics, discipline, morality and anti-corruption. They should be always loyal, upright and responsible. Studying and implementing the Regulations on CPC Disciplinary Action is a basic requirement. Cases should be taken as a warning to educate people and used to analyze issues regarding morality, discipline, law and responsibility, making Party members and cadres stay alert, know the bottom line and hold discipline in awe. Importance should be attached to inspections and rectifications. In the event of any problem spotted during Party discipline learning and education, rectifications should be made immediately.

The meeting stressed the need to strengthen responsibilities and carry out activities to study Party discipline to achieve tangible results. Organizational leadership should be strengthened. Party organizations at all levels of UCD should resolutely shoulder their responsibilities, and Party members and cadres should take the lead in studying Party discipline to push forward Party discipline learning and education.
