Sub-forum of CCES’2024 Academic Annual Conference on “Green Intelligent Railways and Innovation Integration”Held in Suzhou
On Oct.23rd, the sub-forum of China Civil Engineering Society(CCES)’s 2024 academic annual conference on “Green Intelligent Railway and Innovation Integration” sponsored by CCES’rail transit branch and Suzhou Rail Transit Group Co., Ltd. was held in Suzhou. Xia Xiujiang, secretary-general of CCES’rail transit branch, UCD’s Party chief and general manager, led a team to the sub-forum.
At the sub-forum of CCES’2024 academic annual conference on “Green Intelligent Railway and Innovation Integration”, extensive exchange was made in terms of rail transit green development, intelligent development and integrative development to provide new trains of thought for the green and intelligent development of the rail transit industry. Upward of 200 people, including leaders of CCES’rail transit branch, national masters of engineering survey and design, senior specialists, representatives of relevant branches, enterprises and colleges and universities and personnel of urban rail transit design, construction and operation units, were invited to the sub-forum.
Lu Hongbiao, secretary-general of Jiangsu Civil Engineering & Architectural Society, and Jin Ming, chairperson of Suzhou Rail Transit Group Co., Ltd., addressed the sub-forum respectively.
A total of 8 people, including national masters of engineering survey and design and senior specialists, shared the latest research findings scored in their respective fields, injecting new wisdom and providing experience for the rail transit industry.
Shi Haiou (national master of engineering survey and design, former senior engineer of Guangzhou Metro Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd.): Straightening out and summing up foreign and Chinese medium-sized cities with rail transit development speaks volumes for the necessity and rationality to develop rail transit in medium-sized cities and gives sufficient consideration to the rail transit operating costs and benefits in later periods to transform the transportation structure of car share rate currently being on the high side in medium-sized cities in China.
Xu Chengyong (chief planner with UCD): Research and compiling of the Design Guidelines has been systematically expounded in terms of research background, trains of thought for work, countermeasures and methods, achievements of the Design Guidelines, experience and prospects. The report mainly introduces major contents of the achievements of the Design Guidelines, and introduces in detail major action plans of relevant specialties for responding to high-quality development, contents of related guidelines and quantified effects achieved.
Liang Zhiheng (deputy general manager of Wuxi Metro Construction Co., Ltd.): Difficulties in engineering construction have been overcome from the perspective of national energy conservation, environmental protection and low carbon strategies and high-quality development concept and through engineering excellence creation, and efforts have been made to escalate quality and safety levels and to improve the technical competence of all construction units and technological level of workers at the production line to construct more excellent projects. Introduction has been given to the typical cases in engineering practice.
Xu Jingzhao (deputy director of the safety and quality supervision department of Beijing MTR Construction Administration Corporation): Detailed introduction has been given to the project of Beijing Daxing International Airport Line which is a comprehensively planned rapid, intelligent and high-quality rail transit line specially for the Daxing International Airport. With its “fast and intelligent” operation system, “benchmarking-to-aviation” passenger experience and“Belt and Road”platform culture, the airport rail transit line has become a “milestone” model project in the rail transit history of Beijing and even of China and has been brought into the list of national major transportation projects.
Wang Zhansheng (deputy general manager of Suzhou Rail Transit Group Co., Ltd.): Technologies such as tool selection and improvement technology, tool layout and three-dimensional layout technology, cutting parameters setting and control technology, screw conveyor selection and configuration technology, and operational station protection and new tunnel route selection technology, have been expounded and have been successfully applied to engineering practice, bringing about marked economic and social benefits.
Nong Xingzhong (chairperson of Guangzhou Metro Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd., master of engineering survey and design of Guangdong Province): Research and related suggestions have been made in terms of the scientificity and evaluation index of network planning, establishment of design standards for improving passenger service quality, promotion of fully automatic operation and application of smart subways and green low-carbon development technology innovation.
Sun Yinhao (general manager and chief engineer of CRCC Urban Construction & Transportation Co., Ltd.): Status quo of rail transit engineering construction has been expounded and features and difficulties of project construction have been analyzed in line with the experience in the construction of engineering projects. Innovations and practices adopted for the construction and management of rail transit engineering have been expounded in terms of safety management risk and quality management risk. Thoughts and suggestions have been put forward for safety and quality management in line with the status quo of track engineering and the existing problems and in terms of project construction, and explorations and researches have been made for the elaboration of project management.
Liu Yi (general manager of Suzhou Suhezhixing Transportation Technology Co., Ltd.): The predicament facing digital transformation and innovation of intelligent stations has been analyzed around the development status and difficulties of intelligent stations. The new decoupling-refactoring-promotion trains of thought for the digital transformation of stations as well as the man-machine collaboration innovation methodology have been set forth to guide the exploration of the new-generation smart station solutions to come into effect, and trains of thought and key points shown in the solutions as regards station full service scenario reconstruction, management model innovation and technological system reconstruction as well as application effects achieved in the exploration of station operation and management have been focally expounded.
During his stay in Suzhou, Xia Xiujiang held talks respectively with leaders of Suzhou Rail Transit Group Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Shentong Metro Co., Ltd.
