UCD Attends 2024 International Metro Transit Exhibition& Forum (Beijing-Nanjing)

From June 13th through 15th, the 2024 International Metro Transit Exhibition & Forum (Beijing-Nanjing) sponsored by China Association of Metros kicked off ceremoniously at Nanjing International Expo Center. UCD was invited to attend the 2024 Nanjing Annual Conference of China International Urban Rail Transit Summit as well as the metro transit exhibition. UCD planned and organized the“Develop New Quality Productivity·Exhibition for Urban Rail Transit Design and Consulting Innovation Technology Achievements”, held the Urban Rail Transit Integrative Development Forum & Chief Engineers’ Salon, and conducted in-depth exchange and interaction on trends of development of the industry among related enterprises, demonstrating UCD’s prominent strength in the rail transit industry.

As an annual event of the urban rail transit field, the forum focused on the theme of “Developing New Quality Productivity and Energizing High Quality and Sustainable Rail Transit Development”, set up an exhibition area of 7.2 square meters, gave a series of monographic forums, technical product presentations, salons and seminars, and synchronically held the 2024 Nanjing Annual Conference of China International Urban Rail Transit Summit.
At the exhibition, with in Jiangsu, across the country and around the world as the principal line and through exhibits, sand table models, illustrations, texts and videos, UCD showcased its new technical innovation achievements in the whole industry chain encompassing rail transit design and consulting, engineering construction, investment, financing, scientific and technological industrialization, operation, management and real estate cultural tourism. Over 66 years, UCD, together with its urban rail transit peers, have scored cumulant technological accumulations and developments, which have been highly affirmed by the leaders and experts. In-depth exchange and discussion were conducted on a series of scientific and technological innovation achievements including urban rail intelligent design cloud platform, underground pipeline safety protection system, “Urban Simulation” digital base, digital intelligence energy storage integrated solution, contactless intelligent millimeter wave security scanner, Internet of Things integrated solutions, etc.

As a relying unit of the design advisory committee of China Association of Metros, UCD planned and organized the “Develop New Quality Productivity·Exhibition for Urban Rail Transit Design and Consulting Innovation Technology Achievements” to collect technical innovation achievements scored by the backbone enterprises and, through selection by the experts, 30 achievements were displayed at the exhibition. A series of technological research achievements made by Li Jinlong Innovation Studio, key technologies for planning and engineering design of urban airport terminals, prefabricated subway station construction technology, complete technology for assembled vibration damping track system, multi-dimensional fusion evaluation system and key urban rail technology, urban rail construction quality and safety AI large model construction and supervision system, multi-service integrated smart urban rail system planning technology, urban rail multi-modal industry large model key technology, etc.

On behalf of the design advisory committee of China Association of Metros. UCD and the association’s office of the green intelligent urban rail construction leading group jointly held the Urban Rail Transit Integrative Development Forum & Chief Engineers’ Salon. With “Integrative Innovation and Efforts on Urban Rail Sustainable Development”as the theme, Yu Songwei, UCD’s deputy general manager, deputy director and secretary-general of the design advisory committee of China Association of Metros, addressed the forum and made a keynote speech of “Evaluation of Urban Rail Sustainable Development”, making an introduction to the attendants the characteristics of urban rail’s economy-society-environment influences as well as an evaluation of the urban rail transit sustainable development through the ESE model.

Wang Chen, UCD’s deputy general manager and deputy secretary-general of the design advisory committee of China Association of Metros, made a keynote report of “Digits Energize Rail Transit and Integrative Urban Development” at the forum to demonstrate UCD’s practice and application in applying means of digitalization to facilitate the urban rail and integrative city development by analyzing problems and challenges facing the new stage of urban rail development. In addition, technical director of UCD’s rail transit design institute Zhang Yan shares his “Rail Transit Intellectualization Design Platform” at the Jiangsu urban rail transit innovation forum, and senior engineer of the National Engineering Laboratory Lin Fang shared his “Research and Application of Subway Station Prefabrication Construction Technology” at the engineering construction forum.
