UCD’s Technological Product Chosen as Top Ten Best Solutions for Digital Applications in National Enterprises

On September 5th, 2023, the 1st National Enterprise Digital Application Ecology Conference of the China International Digital Economy Expo 2023 was held in Shijiazhuang. During the event, the top ten exemplary scenarios and best solutions for digital applications in national enterprises for the year 2023 were unveiled. The “City Simulation” digital twin base platform, independently developed by the Beijing Urban Construction Transport Planning & Research Institute under UCD, was recognized as one of the top ten best solutions for digital applications in national enterprises.

The “City Simulation” digital twin base platform, a pioneering digital technology innovation product, offers a range of terminals including PC, mini-program, data big screen, digital sandbox, leadership cockpit, and data laboratory. It provides direct data analysis support for various planning and consulting projects and offers base platform services for the development of business decision support systems and the advancement of smart city construction in related fields.
Currently, this product supports the National Development and Reform Commission’s approval and evaluation work for national urban rail transit construction planning. It is also applied in transportation planning, urban renewal, smart transportation construction, and other initiatives in over 60 cities across the country, significantly contributing to the high-quality development and precision governance of these cities.

This conference was hosted by the Organizing Committee of the China International Digital Economy Expo and co-hosted by the Zhongguancun Digital Economy Industry Alliance, Hebei Federation of Digital Economics, and Hengshui Municipal People’s Government. With the theme “Jointly Building a Digital Ecology and Seeking High-Quality Development”, the conference aimed to establish a platform for communication between upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry chain of enterprise digital applications and to share the latest achievements in enterprise digital application technology iteration.
