UCD Unveils “Non-inductive Security Inspection” Product Leading Revolutionary Innovation in the Industry


Recently, UCD launched its self-developed contactless smart millimeter-wave security inspection device (abbreviation: non-inductive security inspection). This technology product subverting the traditional security inspection model will lead the industry to change and continue its innovation and development.

At present, “non-inductive security inspection” has obtained inspection reports from the National Security Alarm System Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Beijing) and the Security and Police Electronic Product Quality Inspection Center of the Ministry of Public Security. Obtaining of the reports indicates that the product has the access conditions for popularization and application in all parts of the country.

 

The "non-inductive security inspection" is a mass-flow, non-stop human body security inspection device independently developed by UCD. The equipment adopts a self-developed radar transceiver chip and integrates from inside core modules such as transmitting and receiving channels and linear frequency sweeping. The chip is FCPGA- packaged in small size and low power consumption, with its noise figure leading in the industry and high mobile frequency sweep speed being 100MHz/us. It can be used for mobile detection and forms a self-developed intelligent security inspection integrated platform with the controller and signal processor.

The device can conduct real-time security inspection of people passing by in the area and intelligently identify all kinds of prohibited and restricted articles (metals and non-metals) hidden under the clothes (knitted fabrics) to realize non-contact and non-stop mass-flow security inspection and to bring passengers a better travel experience.

Comprehensive advantages of the product are prominent. For example, it can optimize the functional layout of ticket sales and check at stations, security inspection areas, and equipment rooms, and can restructure the construction plan for buildings of stations, thereby effectively reducing investment in such supporting services as security inspection and ticket sales and further reducing construction cost. In terms of operation management, it helps reduce the number of security inspection and ticket sales staffs to reduce the overall personnel cost. In addition, the in-depth application of the video-based portrait recognition technology of the product improves the point-to-point real-time tracking capability of passenger flow with video as the core, and key technological breakthroughs have been made in passenger flow sorting and counting, real-time passenger flow acquisition, and accurate positioning of rail transit personnel, thus further improving technological and intelligent levels of rail transit, and the potential for economic and social benefit is huge.
