Opening of the Red-Journey Theater of “Reminisce the Road Taken Over 100 Years and Set Sail for the New Journey” and the Central Team Party History Learning（Enlarged）

Review in retrospect classic historical moments of the Communist Party of China over 100 years. In order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, to further enrich the methods for learning and education of CPC history, and to create a good atmosphere for learning party history, understanding CPC thoughts, doing practical things, and opening up new prospects, UCD conducted an opening ceremony for the Red-Journey Theater of "Reminisce the Road Taken over 100 Years and Set Sail on a New Journey" and the central team Party history learning (enlarged) at the multi-functional lecture hall in its office area at Chegongzhuang on June 11. Members of UCD’s leading body and Party members from party organizations at all levels totaling more than 100 persons attended the ceremony.

In his speech at the opening ceremony, Li Guoqing, secretary of UCD’s party committee, pointed out that the Red-Journey Theater of "Reminisce the Road Taken over 100 Years and Set Sail on a New Journey", a Party history learning and education activity, was aimed at thoroughly carrying out the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech made at the Party History Study and Education Mobilization Meeting through film watching, and conducting Party history study and education sturdily, so as to enable UCD’s all Party members and cadres to draw on the calcium of the spirit, the soul of theory, and the power for advancing bravely from the 100-hundred-year Party history, and continuously improving the ability to deal with risks and challenges, guiding Party members to be grateful to the Party’s love and to advance with the Party through Party history learning and education activities, and transforming the learning into a powerful driving force to promote high-quality development and the wholehearted, wide, in-depth and earnest Party history learning and education.

After the opening ceremony, the Red-Journey Theater played "A Time to Realize Dreams" of the historical documentary "Building Dreams in China" and played the red movie "The Great Cause of Party Building" in after hours.

The Red-Journey Theater will play three parts of contents "Party History Stories", "Red Movies" and "Pioneer Model Deeds", and the activity will last till the end of August. The theater will give a total of 24 Party history education movies on scheduled time on each Friday. By organizing and conducting activities, UCD will further enhance the enthusiasm of the Party members to learn Party history, promote the principle of understanding truths through history learning, increasing confidence through history learning, observing moralities through history learning and forging ahead through history learning to transform learning results into task motivation and actual performance, and celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China with excellent achievements.
