Party Building Driving Innovation

--Research Report of UCD’s Party Committee Won the “Outstanding Achievements Award” For the 2020 Annual Project Approved by Beijing Society for Party Building Studies

In April 2021, Beijing Society for Party Building Studies commended the outstanding achievements of the 2020 annual projects. The sponsor and supervisor of Beijing Society for Party Building Studies is Organizational Department of Beijing Committee of the Communist Party of China. The Research Institute focuses on promoting theoretical and practical innovation in Party building in Beijing, China’s capital, further improving the quality and level of Party building research, giving full play to the role of high-end think tanks and carrying out research on Party building projects. Besides, it has made active exploration in studying the experience and lessons of the party building after the Communist Party of China came into power, the new experience and problems of the Party building in the socialist modernization, and the law of the Party building.

In 2020, Beijing Society for Party Building Studies had approved a total of 55 Party building projects, among which only 3 are launched by state-owned enterprises. The Research Report on the Mode and Method of Party Building Work in Large-scale PPP Projects, which was completed by the project group with Li Guoqing, Party Committee Secretary and Deputy General Manager of UCD as the leader, and relevant personnel from the Work Department of the Party Committee, Discipline Inspection Department and the General Party Branch of the Investment and Construction Management Department as members, won the  “Outstanding Achievements Award” for 2020 annual projects approved by Beijing Society for Party Building Studies.

At present, there are only a few research achievements on the party building work in PPP project companies in our country, and it is urgent to study and explore the progress of party building work in PPP project. Based on the alignment between the Party building work and the production and operation work, the Party committee of UCD has continued to promote the high-quality development of the enterprise. Relying on the PPP project of Kunming Rail Line 4, we have summarized the practical experience and research results. And in accordance with the basic requirements of the Party building in the new era, we have innovated and explored new ideas for the Party building under the PPP mode. Our research focused on the establishment mode of the Party committee of companies with major PPP project, the ways of the Party committee to play a leading role, the paralleled management mode of the localization of Party building work, and the methods of Party member education and management, which is of great significance to enrichment of the theory of Party building in the new era, the increase of guaranteed value of state-owned assets, and promotion of the high-quality operation of PPP mode.
