The Fruitful Guangzhou Metro Line 10 as Commended by Proprietors

On the afternoon of April 29th, in the commendation of “2020-2021 Advanced Group and Outstanding Individual in Publicity and Co-construction Work” by the Guangzhou Metro Construction Headquarters, the Guangzhou Metro Line 10 project has achieved fruitful results and won the titles of “Advanced Group in Co-construction Work” and “Advanced Group in Propaganda Work”, making UCD the only unit winning the honor among all 11 units involved in the construction of the Line 10 project. Comrade Zhao Hao was awarded the title of “Excellent Propagandist”, being the only person having received this honor. UCD won the most awards among all units involved in the construction of Guangzhou Metro Line 10.

Since 2020, the project department and various work areas have been actively communicating with people in areas where Line 10 passes and stations are set up, building the Party and Mass Center with the Ruibao Sub-district Office to jointly organize days set aside for Party organization activities and a photo exhibition for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, and to conduct metro pop science for residents who live near the stations, install sound insulation glass, repair house waterproofing and water pipes, build roads, reconstruct sewers, and assist the municipal section of the Haizhu District Traffic Police in laying traffic signs, and continue to conduct the activity of “subway construction in neighborhoods” to enable the general public to understand subway construction and to recognize the golden sign of UCD.

While doing a good job of co-construction, the project department actively carried out various news and publicity work. Focusing on important project links, project characteristic experience, staff cultural and sports activities, business learning and exchanges, leadership inspection and guidance, etc., the project department actively provided news materials and wrote news reports. Since the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic, the project department has provided nearly 20 pieces of news and materials in a timely manner through the UCD platform, the Guangzhou Metro OA platform, and the WeChat official account. In particular, the “Yuejin No. 1”, the first-started shield machine on Line 10 in the Dadong section, was circulated enthusiastically in the local mainstream media such as Nanfang Daily and Guangzhou Daily, which made a good pitch for the fine image of UCD builders. Through regular work meetings, the project department organized the “Line 10 small reporter group” to organize news propaganda and business learning to improve the ability of the correspondents to find news, collect materials and write news reports to improve the level of news propaganda work as regards Guangzhou Metro Line 10.
