UCD Won the First Prize for Design of the 9th “Longtu Cup” National BIM Competition 

On November 26, the award ceremony of the 9th “Longtu Cup” National BIM Competition in 2020 hosted by China Graphics Society was held in Beijing. After preliminary evaluation, re-evaluation, candidate review, and final evaluation defense, among 1999 entries of this competition, finally 8 first prizes were selected from the design group. The BIM Design and Application of Viaduct and Station Structure of Nanjing-Jurong Intercity Rail Transit Project declared by the Bridge Research Institute of Beijing General Municipal Engineering Design & Research Institute Co.,Ltd. won the first prize of the design group in this competition.

In 2017, UCD won the bid for the overall contract management of the Nanjing-Jurong Intercity Rail Transit Project design and the design bid section of 05 civil engineering site (10-km viaduct section and 2 viaduct stations). The Bridge Research Institute made a number of innovative applications of BIM technologies in this project, which improved the design quality and level, overcame the difficulties of prefabricated bridge design, and received recognition and praise of the owner.
