UCD’s Projects Highlight 2020 CIFTIS

From September 4th to 9th, the 2020 China International Fair for Trade in Services (hereinafter referred to as CIFTIS) co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and the Beijing Municipal People’s Government was ceremoniously held in Beijing. Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered a video speech. The CIFTIS held in 2020 was the first–ever major international economic and trade event held offline in China since the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic. With the theme being "Global Service, Mutual Benefit & Sharing", CIFTIS mainly showcases the latest achievements in trade in services at home and abroad to boost the formation of more international co-operations.

In the theme exhibition area for the construction services of the CIFTIS, the urban rail cloud core equipment independently developed by the intelligent control company, known as the intelligent control integrated machine, made its brilliant debut, showing the latest scientific and technological achievements achieved in the field of intelligent urban rail transportation. This subway "big data" intelligent control all-in-one machine combines multiple functions such as weak current, signal, and control, into one, thereby saving about 40 square meters of space for each subway station.

The company’s BIM technology-based intelligent design technology for section structural engineering used the first phase of Jinan R3 line as the carrier to make demonstrations. The intelligent design technology of section structure engineering based on BIM technology uses BIM technology to digitally upgrade the mature design process and design method of urban rail transit engineering to form an intelligent design tool. Compared with other design tools, the intelligent design technology of interval structural engineering based on BIM technology manifests such advantages as systemization of design tools, standardization of design data, parameterization of design process, and high efficiency of design energy consumption.

During the same period, many of UCD's projects participated in the exhibition by way of CIFTIS catalogues and cloud platform, including: Kunming Rail Transit Line 4 PPP project, cloud transportation automation system CRIAS, integrated development of comprehensive transportation hub at Pingguoyuan of Shijingshan District of Beijing, the first phase of International Trade Station of Beijing Metro Line 1, Astana City Light Rail Line 1 in Kazakhstan, Tehran Metro in Iran, Modern Tram Project (EPC) in Chengyang District of Qingdao, etc.
