Trial Operation of Rail transit Line 4 Started in Kunming

Four seasons are like spring and there is an expanse of blooming flowers. On the morning of May 30, Kunming’s Rail Transit Line 4 reached another milestone moment ---- no-load trial operation, marking the entry of the project into the preparatory opening stage from the construction stage.

From May 28 to 29, Kunming’s Rail Transit Line 4 project trial operation expert inspection confirmation meeting was successfully held. The meeting strictly followed the procedures of start-up meeting, site survey, and centralized feedback review to conduct the trial operation condition check and confirmation work. At the meeting, experts and representatives of relevant units listened to the reports made by the construction units and operating units on project construction and trial operation preparations, and reviewed relevant documents. Afterwards, the on-site facilities and equipment such as Jinchuan Road Station, Hedianying Station, Gucheng Station, Tadou Interval Wind Turbines, Dayangtian Depot, and Control Center were inspected on site. After a two-day review and appraisal, the expert team gave a high evaluation of the work from the review and unanimously agreed that the project met the requirements for trial operation and the trial operation could be started. 

According to the trial operation work arrangement, the equipment functions, high-density driving, continuous running maps and key parameters of the initial operation will be verified subsequently, the actual operation and emergency handling capabilities of the dispatching, station service, crew and equipment maintenance and repair personnel will be tested, and personnel training and emergency drills will be carried out to constantly strengthen the coordination and cooperation among personnel and equipment, vehicles, and systems in all positions, so as to lay a solid foundation for the next phase of operation.
