Commendatory Letter from Jinan Rail Transit Group Co., Ltd.

Days ago, Jinan Rail Transit Group Co., Ltd. sent a commendatory letter, fully recognizing and speaking highly of the arduous efforts made by UCD in designing the Wangfuzhuang Depot and Jiangjiazhuang Parking Lot for the first phase of Jinan Rail Transit Line R2, and bestowing praise on Gao Yongqiang, Lang Bin, Liu Biao and Liao Qi, designers of UCD.

It is pointed out in the letter that since the take-over of the designing work, UCD’s design team tackled such adverse factors as tight time schedule and heavy assignments and grasped the nettle and went all out to persevere in optimizing the designs and, on the premise of satisfying design standards and ensuring usable functions, the design team succeeded in achieving a number of breakthroughs in terms of seismic grade adopted for the first time, section steel design standardization, throat area ventilation exhaust set cancellation, and integrated pipe trench laying mode firstly adopted for outdoor pipeline, thereby making great contribution to economizing on project investments and accelerating construction process and embodying UCD’s strong technology strength and fine service philosophy.

UCD’s Jinan institute will take this as its motive power and will carry forward at all time its spirit of “Originality, Responsibility, Innovation and Struggle”, stay true to its mission and forge ahead to make contribution to composing a new chapter for Jinan subway construction.
