Metro Trans Forum 2019· 3rd Rail Transit Key Survey Technology Forum of the Sub-Forum 18 Successfully Held

On July 26, 2019, sponsored by China Urban Rail Transit Association and undertaken by China Urban Rail Transit Association Engineering Construction Professional Committee, China Urban Rail Transit Association Safety Management Professional Committee, Beijing Urban Construction Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd., Media and Convention Center of China Urban Rail Transit Association, Beijing Metro Construction Administration Corporation Ltd. and China Academy of Urban Planning & Design the Metro Trans Forum 2019· 3rd Rail Transit Key Survey Technology Forum of the Sub-Forum 18 was held in Beijing.

As a professional forum for the key technologies of rail transit survey, this forum was focused on the theme of “Safety First in Urban Rail Transit Escorted by Survey” and attracted nearly 230 participants including experts, scholars, member representatives and media representatives from many rail transit surveys in the country. The forum was presided over by Li Fengjun, Deputy Secretary General of the Engineering Construction Committee of China Urban Rail Transit Association, and Huang Fulian, Deputy Secretary General of the Special Committee and Vice President of our institute. Ma Haizhi, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors of our institute, Huang Jianwei, Deputy Secretary General of China Urban Rail Transit Association, Liu Xin, Executive Deputy Director of the Safety Management Professional Committee and former Deputy Chief Engineer of Beijing Rail Transit Construction Management Co., Ltd., attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Vice President Wu Bingtao, Zhang Guangwei, Chief Engineer Zhang Jianquan, and the Presidents and Chief Engineers of the Professional Institutes attended the forum.

Subsequently, time for the specially invited reports came focused on the core theme, He Manchao, Academician of the Academy of Sciences, Chairman of the Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, and Professor of China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing), made a special academic report on “NPR New Safety Materials and Traffic Engineering”.

Liu Yongqin, Deputy Chief Engineer of our institute and expert of the Quality and Safety Office of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, delivered the speech titled “Safety Measurement of Urban Infrastructure” and, Zhou Yufeng, Deputy Chief Engineer of the Investigation Institute, made a speech entitled “Investigation of Survey Process and Application of Survey Data”.

The forum successfully held has facilitated the exchange of views on and sharing of hotspot questions, difficulties and highlights in terms of urban rail transit survey, played a positive role in promoting scientific research and technological innovation in related technologies, standards and norms, project practice in the entire urban rail transit industry, and given an impetus to the continuous and rapid development of the urban rail transit survey industry.
