General Manager Wang Hanjun Visits and Sends Greetings to Workers at Tender No.06 New Airport Line on the Second Day of the Chinese New Year

On Feb. 06, the second day of the Chinese New Year, in flying snowflakes General Manager Wang Hanjun came to the site of Tender No. 6 New Airport Line to visit and give greetings to workers holding fast to their posts at the production line on the festive days.

More than 200 workers of the Project Department stood fast and remained at their posts at the production line since the Chinese New Year’s eve. Thaw grouting was completed at the No.3 refrigeration contact channel of the shield zone, bottom slab concreting and steel bar binding for the arch wall were completed for No.4 contact channel and the 8-meter-tall side wall templates of the air shaft of No.1 shield zone were folded. At the construction site, machines of various kinds roared like as if for a competition, and bustling scenes were seen everywhere. Project Manager of the Tender No.6 Liu Shuangquan said：“The project calls for higher standards and the construction period is tight. Hence, the Project Department will not have days off for the Spring Festival and will keep the project moving on”. Despite the arduous construction tasks, the Project Department organized the workers for a thorough cleaning in the spare time, hung the lanterns and posted Spring Festival couplets at the doors to present a joyous atmosphere of the festive time.

The festive atmosphere brought about strong ties of comradeship! General Manager Wang Hanjun and his party firstly came down 40 meters deep underground to the construction site of No.1 air shaft of the Tender No. 6 to ask about the construction arrangement, safety quality and logistics service work for the Spring Festival period, expressed gratitude to the workers for their selfless contribution and conscientious work done without staying with their families for the holidays and stressed that strict management must be exercised particularly during the festive time so as to ensure the construction quality and safety, to strive to work the project better, to win trust from the proprietors and to extend the influence of the enterprise. General Manager Wang Hanjun also extended festive greetings to the Project Department, units of fit, and their family members and wished them good health, smooth work, family joys and happy Spring Festival! Employees of the Project Department expressed their heartfelt thanks to UCD leaders for their loving care and said they would never fall short of UCD’s expectations and would stick to their posts to do all things well. They also said that they would make still greater efforts in the new year to ensure that the project is done smoothly so as to make the greatest contribution to the earliest completion of the New Airport Line.
