Bear Original Aspiration of Revolution in Mind and Keep Alive True Qualities of Progressiveness—A visit paid by the Party branch of UCD’s Tianjin branch institute to Memorial of Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao

To carry forward the patriotic spirit, strengthen the cohesion of ideological and spiritual impetus among Party members, inspire the sense of responsibility among Party members and cadres, and enhance their awareness to Party character, on Nov. 16, 2018, the Party branch of UCD’s Tianjin branch institute led their Party members and masses to the Memorial of Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao to start an education activity featuring the theme of cherishing the memory of the great achievements made by revolutionary pioneers, bearing in mind the original aspiration of revolution and keeping alive true qualities of progressiveness.

Visitors to Memorial of Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao came in an endless stream. Party members of the Party branch of Tianjin branch institute headed inside all together. They held high the bright red Party flag in front of the main building and spread out the streamer with “UCD’s Tianjin Branch” written on for a group photo to mark the occasion. Inside the memorial hall, all stuff members stopped before the marble statues of Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao and paid respects. Then all Party members fell into rank before the Party flag and, led by Li Xuegang, member of the Party branch and head of the branch institute, they recited the oath to the Party to strengthen their pure original aspiration of revolution.

Guided by the narrator, they paid their respects to the relics left over by Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao, and learned in an all-round way about their glorious revolutionary course started from early revolutionary activities, such as setting their minds on saving the Chinese nation and working on the establishment of the Communist Party of China, to the immortal contributions they made after the founding of New China when they held important Party and government posts for the promotion of national unity, national development and world peace. While listening attentively to the narrator, Party members stopped now and then for a careful look at the valuable historical photos and relics embodying moving stories, and received a baptism of heart and soul that taught them to bear in mind the original aspiration of revolution and the puprose of serving the people wholeheartedly.

After the activity was brought to a close, all of the members said that the visit was so heart-stirring that they were deeply moved by the sublime moral character and revolutionary spirit manifested by Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao about having endless love for the people and being hard-working in government affairs, working selflessly for the public interest and sparing no effort in the performance of their duties, and said that they would aspire to draw on the marrow of the spirit, put the original aspiration into practice, maintain the progressive true qualities of communist party members, constantly improve self-cultivation, heighten the sense of responsibility, strengthen the learning, work earnestly and keep forging ahead actively to make still greater contributions to the all-round development of the Party building in the branch institute. The Party branch of the Tianjin branch institute hopes that the education activity can inspire Party members of the branch institute to model themselves on the predecessors of proletarian revolution and on advanced model Party members to integrate the spirit of the Party’s original aspiration in their work and to strive to be moral pioneers, industry models and excellent Party members that act in strict accordance with the Party constitution, so as to do their bit to help with the UCD construction and to make arduous efforts for the realization of the “UCD Dream”！
