On April 26, the pink route for Subway Line 6 on the Tianjin Rail Traffic Network Map was completed. The southern section of BJUCD’s package project Tianjin Subway Line 6’s Phase I was also put into trial run, marking the complete operation of the line.  

Subway Line starts from Nansunzhuang Station, passes through the 115-year Tianjin North Railway Station, the beautiful Changhong Park, the famous industrial landmark Tianjin Tractor Manufacturing Co.,Ltd., the Water Park, one of Tianjin’s Ten Scenic Spots, and other places across the centurial industrial city, and finally reaches Meilinlu Station. The 45km line sets up 39 stations and connects communities, shopping malls, office buildings, parks, hospitals, schools, museums and gymnasiums together. Themed on the city’s centurial industrial development, the stations highlight Tianjin’s industrial culture in the forms of murals, old photos and models for old machines among others.
