President Wang Hanjun Pays a New Year’s Visit to Academician Shi Zhongheng

On Feb. 02, 2018, on the occasion of the imminent Chinese New Year, Wang Hanjun, President of Beijing Urban Engineering Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Chief Engineer Yang Xiuren, visited and extended New Year greetings to Academician Shi Zhongheng. At Academician Shi’s home, President Wang extended sincere greetings and good wishes to Academician Shi and his family on  behalf of the company, as well as heartfelt thanks to the academician for his important contributions to the construction of the industry and to the development of the company！

President Wang gave an introduction to the growth of the company in 2017, with emphasis laid on the outstanding achievements scored in urban rail transit construction. He said that the company’s advantages in the operation of the whole rail transit industry chain were becoming increasingly prominent and rapid progress has been made in all undertakings.

Academician Shi showed much concern with the development of the company and extended congratulations on the sound and vigorous development of the company. Besides, he expressed gratitude to the leaders for their solicitude and, at the same time, he made analysis and exchanged views of the status quo and future trends of the urban rail transit industry in China.

President Wang stressed that the academician should take good care of his health and hoped that the academician could, as always, care for and back up the development of the company.
