Opening Ceremony of the 19th CPC National Congress Watched Synchronically at UCD’s 58 Break-out Rooms

On the morning of Oct. 18, on the lines of unified arrangement by its party committee, UCD arranged two main meeting-places at its headquarters for all staff memebers to view the opening ceremony of the 19th CPC National Congress together. Members of UCD’s party committee, members of UCD’s party committee center group, members of UCD’s leading group, and united front representatives, watched the opening ceremony of the 19th CPC National Congress on TV, together with all cadres and employees working that day at the Hengtai headquarters.

At the same time, the surveying institute（and its subordinates）, Rail Engineering and Construction Co. Ltd.（and its subordinates）, the architecture institute, the municipal institute, the overseas institute, the investment & financing department, the investment and construction management department, the veteran cadre department, as well as the party branch committee of the property department, Huan An Company, An Jie Company, Shun Jie Company, Xin Jie Company、China Metro Company and the new rail transit institute all took their party branches as different units to watch the opening ceremony televised live. UCD’s 23 branch institutes in other cities and the Vietnam branch watched the live programme synchronically, with the number of viewers reaching more than 1500 in total.

At 9 sharp in the morning, members of the party center group headed by Party Secretary Li Guoqing and General Manager Wang Hanjun and over 20 functionaries and employees gathered together in high spirits at the first main meeting-place. Everyone was permeated with a joyous atmosphere ushering in the successful convening of the 19th CPC National Congress. At the second main meeting-place hung markedly bright red streamer of“Warmly Celebrate the Successful Convening of the 19th CPC National Congress”. Everyone viewed the three-and-half-hour live programme attentively and took notes carefully like as if they were at the site of the opening ceremony listening to the report. Excitement and pride that welled up now and then demonstrated the viewers’boundless love for the party and their earnest expectations of the 19th CPC National Congress.

It is agreed by all that the 19th CPC National Congress has been an extremely important congress convened in China’s important historical stage. The report made by Comrade Xi Jinping on behalf of the 18th CPC Central Committee is a scientific summing-up of work and experience achieved in past five years and makes an overall arrangement for the development of various undertakings of the party and the state. With a clear-cut theme and rich connotation, the report is strategically situated and is a guide to action for future work.

Everyone expressed that as employees at the production line they will conscientiously study, disseminate and carry out the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress, further place their thinking and action in line with the requirements and arrangements of the Congress and, by revolving around the central tasks tightly, they will work sturdily, forge ahead with determination, blaze new trails in a pioneering spirit, constantly open up new rospects, unswervingly take the path of socialist political development with Chinese characteristics and make new and still greater contributions.
