Chief Engineer Yang Xiuren Wins Honorary Title of Beijing Scholar

Recently, Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau promulgated Circular on Publicizing Name List of Beijing Scholars for the Year 2017. On the basis of recommendation, examination, appraisal and publicity, and upon approval by Beijing Municipal Leading Group for Human Resource Work, 14 persons were conferred the title of Beijing Scholar, including Yang Xiuren, UCD’s chief engineer. Here’s our congratulations to him.

To elect Beijing Scholars is to strengthen the construction of the contingent of high-level technical personnel of Beijing, and to select and cultivate innovators, creators, constructers, managers and developers of world advanced level who rank in the forefront of world science and technology and teem with innovation capabilities, so as to realize the strategic goal of sparing no effort to propelling the scientific development of Beijing and build the city into a world-level one with Chinese characteristics.
