“Raising the National Flag, Wearing the Party Emblem and Reviewing the Party Oath”--- an Activity Successfully Organized for Line 1 of Urumqi

Recently, sponsored by Urumqi Rail Transit Project Construction Executive Office, Urumqi Urban Rail Group Co., Ltd., and the Fifth Project Management Center of Beijing MTR Construction Administration Corporation, and undertaken by the 14th Tender Department of Urumqi Metro Line 1, the activity of“Raising the National Flag, Wearing the Party Emblem and Reviewing the Party Oath”took place successfully where the 14th Tender Department of Line 1 is stationed, reaching the effect as expected.

 

A total of more than 100 people attended the event, including main leaders such as Qin Wei, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Deputy Director of Urumqi Construction Commission, Fei Jianyong, Secretary of the General Party Branch and Deputy Director of Urumqi Rail Transit Project Construction Executive Office, Jiao Zhigang, Deputy Secretary of the Fifth Project Management Center of Beijing MTR Construction Administration Corporation, and Zhang Yuhua, Party Secretary of the urban construction rail transit company, as well as party branch secretaries from 27 member units of the Party Building Joint Conference for Urumqi Rail Transit Projects.

 

The activity of“Raising the National Flag, Wearing the Party Emblem and Reviewing the Party Oath”will promote communication and contact among various units involved in the construction of Line 1 and will further help them integrate resources, complement each other’s advantages, share experiences and practices, and constantly facilitate the project. Wearing the Party emblem and reviewing the Party oath is to let the Party members bear in mind their membership and the Party oath at all hours, put the people’s interests in the first place, take the lead in carrying out the Party’s aim, have the courage to bring forth new ideas, be clean and devoted, realistic and pragmatic, and work hard.

Zhang Yuhua, Party Secretary of the urban construction rail transit company, expressed on behalf of the construction units that they will resolutely follow the work arrangements and requirements from higher leading units and obey orders in all their actions. She added that they will give full play to the role of project party branches as a stronghold and the exemplary and vanguard role of Party members, and will lead the rank and file cadres and employees of the project department and members of the construction contingent to roll up their sleeves and go full speed ahead with the work, take the initiative in surmounting difficulties encountered in the construction, and foster excellent projects, so as to give a satisfactory answer to the people of Urumqi！
“A Party branch serves like a stronghold, and every Party member represents the Party flag”. At the site of the activity, all Party members, with their fists held high and eyes staring at the Party flag, swore their faithful oath to the Party once again, showing their unswerving determination to follow the Party forever with their original intention unchanged. All units to the activity expressed that they would take action immediately to set off a new upsurge of rail transit construction in 2017 to ensure the completion of construction schedules at various links, so as to make a due contribution to the social stability and long-term peace and order in Urumqi and usher in the successful convening of CPC’s 19th National Congress with distinction.
