Wuhan Rail Transit Line 3 Station Decoration Project Won Award

Buildings are the visiting card of a city, and are a solidified music; design is the soul of a building and the musical note of the times. The transition and leap-forward of the Greater Wuhan agglomerates the wisdom and contribution of Wuhan building, investigation and design industry. Nowadays, Wuhan is making efforts for “National Center City” and nominated for “World Capital of Design”. Who are forging the back of the city? What innovative projects are guiding the fashion of building industry?

On July 31, 2016, the awarding ceremony was held at Chutian Media Building for the Activity of Appraising and Electing “Dual Top Ten Enterprises” in Wuhan Building, Investigation and Design Industry. The Wuhan Rail Transit Line 3 Station Decoration Project undertaken by UCD obtained the “Excellent Innovation Project (Wuhan)” in the Activity of Appraising and Electing “Dual Top Ten Enterprises” in Wuhan Building, Investigation and Design Industry in 2016. A batch of unsung heroes making contributions to the city construction appeared on the stage and ushered in the honors belonging to them.

This Activity of Appraising and Electing “Dual Top Ten Enterprises” was jointly sponsored by the Editorial Department of Chutian Metropolis Daily, Wuhan Building Association, and Wuhan Investigation and Design Association. Lasting for more than 5 months, this activity attracted up to 188 individual persons and projects who registered for participating in appraisal, and netizens’ voting for more than 230,000 person times, and finally, expert appraisers selected the awarded works after appraisal. This Wuhan Metro Line 3 Design Project found favor with citizens and experts, embodied the Company’s constant efforts and pursuit in terms of design, showed the Company’s charm of advancing with the times, and built the Dream of Metropolis and the Dream of Rise.
