Liu Li, Vice Governor of Anhui Province, Made Site Inspection of the PPP Project at North Outer Ring Road of Anqing

On June 25, Vice Governor of Anhui Province Liu Li, in the company of Chen Bingbing, Mayor of Anqing, and Zheng Jiaqi, Director-General of Anqing Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Committee and Head of Anqing Major Projects Construction Bureau, made a site inspection of the PPP project at the North Outer Ring Road of Anqing.

In front of the panels of No.1 Bridge at Shitanghu, Vice Governor Liu Li and her party heard Chief Engineer Pan Biao’s reports on investment, construction, design, building, supervision, overall project, division of construction areas, construction priorities and difficulties, and construction progress with regard to the construction of the outer north ring road.

Vice Governor Liu Li asked questions about the building and construction of the road. Zheng Jiaqi, Director-General of Anqing Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Committee and Head of Anqing Major Projects Construction Bureau, and Pan Biao, Chief Engineer of the PPP project company, answered the questions one by one. Vice Governor Liu Li said that since the start of the construction of the PPP project, the outer north ring road of Anqing became the first PPP project of public benefit across the country and the country’s demonstration project, and attracted attention from within Anhui Province and across the country. She said that the project was a major project for enhancing urban traffic conditions, and affirmed the creation of a new model and the development of the urban framework through the building of the outer north ring road of Anqing. She expressed gratitude to Beijing Urban Construction Design & Development Group Co. Limited for their contributions made in the infrastructure construction of Anqing, and spoke highly of the project construction progress and quality. She hoped that, on the premise of all sorts of work proceeding steadily and orderly, the outer north ring road be open to traffic the earliest possible to facilitate the development of modern and stereoscopic traffic facilities in Anqing so as to bring benefit to the people of the city.
