Urban rail transit innovation national engineering laboratory approved by NDRC

Recently the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) officially approved the Urban Rail Transit Green and Safe Construction Technology National Engineering Laboratory.

The Urban Rail Transit Green and Safe Construction Technology National Engineering Laboratory is the first state-level technology innovation platform of the company. It will center on the urging requirements on urban rail transit engineering safety, environmental protection, efficiency and sustainability and mainly develop urban rail transit green construction technology R&D centers and application demonstration platforms and take a leading role in the technology advancement and innovation of the urban rail transit technology development of China.

The national laboratory is initiated by our company and jointly developed by Beijing Jiaotong University, Tsinghua University and Nanjing Metro Group Co. Ltd. and others in line with the related requirements of China to develop advanced technology innovation platforms of the industry, and construct “three innovation platforms, one support platform, seven R&D centers and 1+N application demonstration bases”. It will be built into a world leading urban rail transit engineering technology laboratory.
