Army teams up with civilians for joint harmonious construction
--Beijing UCD Road smoothly completed

The tunnel shielding project at the Shizhi Section, the 5th package of Guangzhou Subway Line 21, shall pass an air force front from underground in Guangzhou. In order to secure smooth work, the project department has carried out various joint construction activities with Guangzhou Military Area Command. The completion ceremony for the Beijing UCD Road, jointly built by the 5th Package Project Department for Guangzhou Subway Line 21 of the General Project Contracting Department and Guangzhou Military Area Command, was held at the venue of an air force troop. The commissar, chief of staff of Guangzhou Military Area Command, Liu Shuangquan, manager of Project Department, Li Runjun, secretary of the CPC Committee of Project Department, and Li Yuemin, manager of the Construction Site, attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

With the joint efforts of the Project Department and Guangzhou Metro, the geological survey within the military area command had been completed. The evaluation and analysis on the project impact is ongoing. The discussion on the underground construction has made great progress.
