Expert review meeting on feasibility report of first phase of Tianjin Metro Line No. 10 held

 

Entrusted by Tianjin Development and Reform Committee (TDRC), the three-day expert review meeting on the feasibility report of the first phase of Tianjin Metro Line No. 10, hosted by Beijing Urban Construction Design & Development Group Co., Ltd (UCD), was successfully completed on November 4, 2015 in Tianjin.

The review was headed by Yang Xiuren, chief engineer of the UCD, and Wang Yiran, deputy chief engineer, served as project manager. A total of 18 well-known experts from the UCD and Guangzhou and Tianjin were invited to form the expert review committee, a key component for the work. Related officials from the TDRC attended the meeting and gave speeches.
The review gained great support and assistance from related government department of Tianjin, Tianjin Metro Group and the Third Railway Survey and Design Institute Group Corporation, the compilation entity of the report.

Project information:

The first phase of the Tianjin Metro No. 10 project is 21.18 kilometers. It is completely under the ground and has 21 stations. Among them, nine are transfer stations. It uses B-type train that consists of six cars. The highest speed of the train is 80 km/h. There is one depot and two electric power sub-stations. The project is scheduled to start construction in December 2015 and complete in 2019 with duration of four years.
