Chen Daihua makes site investigation to Anqing PPP Project 

On September 10, Chen Daihua, chairman of the board of Beijing Urban Construction Group (BUCG), secretary of the CPC BUCG Committee and general manager of BUCG, made a field investigation to the PPP project of Anqing Outer Ring North Road, accompanied by Wang Hanjun, general manager of Beijing Urban Construction Design & Development Group Co. (UCD), Wang Liang, deputy general manager of UCD, Yao Ziran, chairman of the board of Beijing Urban Construction Road & Bridge Group Co., Ltd. (BUCRB) and secretary of the CPC BUCRB Committee, Xu Haiyi, general manager of BUCRB, Cao Guozhang, chairman of the board of Beijing Urban Construction Yatai Group Co. Ltd., and Xia Xiujiang, general manager of the Anqing Outer Ring North Road PPP Project Department, and relevant directors. 

Chen made a field visit to the construction sites of Qianjiang Road Flyover and No. 1 Bridge of Shitang Lake, and debriefed the project manager about the project construction. The striking signboards, neat and standard door enclosure, standard publicity slogans, large-scale equipment with unified signs, and busy and orderly construction site left deep impression to visitors. After listening to the reports, Chen said the projects have made satisfying progresses with two months of efforts with basically completed the land lot demolition and relocation, pipeline diversion, transportation dispersion and access road construction, creating an all-out construction scene. 

In the afternoon, a special reporting meeting was convened at the conference room of Anqing Outer Ring North Road PPP Project Department. Xia Xiujiang made a detailed report on the overall situation of the project, division of the construction area, the latest progress and recent labor competition. Chen made an important speech. He pointed out that Anqing Outer Ring North Road Project has been well staffed with capital appropriated in place. The project has entered the prime stage of “full-swing” construction, and made satisfying achievements in the project progress and quality control. Meanwhile, he further pointed out that efforts should be made to prepare for missions of the next stage, stick to the principle of giving equal emphasis to quality and safety and project progress to ensure smooth financing channels, construction safety, transportation safety, and on-time fulfillment of the agreement. At the same time, efforts should be made to summarize the PPP project operation and management experience and better lean management.
