Modern Electrified Rail Traffic Engineering Technical Standard Seminar Held in Shenyang

Recently, Establishment Ceremony of Modern Traffic Innovation Alliance cum Modern Trolley Car Traffic Engineering Technical Standard Seminar was held in Shenyang. Beijing Urban Construction Design & Development Group Co., Limited (UCD), Shenyang Hunnan Modern Traffic Co.,Ltd., CRRC Corporation Limited (CRRC) and Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU) jointly initiated the establishment of the Modern Traffic Innovation Alliance(MTIA). 

As the representative of the initiators, Wang Hanjun, General Manager of UCD, attended the ceremony delivered a speech. Now, the total planned mileage for nationwide electrified rail traffic reaches 5,000 kilometers. Electrified rail traffic and other modern traffic means are embracing a historic development opportunity. The establishment of MTIA marks a brand new developing stage that the modern traffic enters represented by modern electrified rail traffic, said Wang. 

MTIA will unite related parties and powerful players to meet the era’s demand of innovative development, make research and exploration in modern traffic innovative fields, and further promote the innovative development of modern traffic industry represented by modern electrified rail traffic.

At the meeting, the participants made discussions on the formulation of technical standards for modern electrified rail traffic engineering. Feng Aijun, secretary-general of Urban Rail Traffic Technical Work Committee of China Civil Engineering Society and deputy chief engineer of UCD, hosted the technical standard seminar. Mao Liliang, editor in chief for modern electrified rail traffic engineering technical standard and deputy chief engineer of UCD, gave an introduction on the standard. The technical standard will fill the gap of China in the planning, management, design, construction and operation of modern electrified rail traffic, and produce profound a profound influence to boost the development in this field, scientifically and orderly drive the leap development of the whole industry in China.

The meeting was jointly sponsored by UCD and Shenyang Hunnan Modern Traffic Co.,Ltd. More than 10 companies from the industry attended the meeting.
