Anhui Province’s vice governor Chen Shulong inspects PPP site in Anqing

On July 13, Anhui Province’s vice governor Chen Shulong inspected the PPP site invested and constructed by UCD in the North Waihuan Road of Anqing. Municipal leaders including Yu Aihua, secretary of CPC Anqing Committee, Fan Xianhan, vice mayor of Anqing, Zheng Jiaqi, director of Anqing Construction Committee cum head of Key Project Bureau, and Fang Junping, director of Anqing Traffic Bureau accompanied the inspection. Xia Xiujiang, general manager for the PPP Project in the North Waihuan Road of Anqing, Lyu Jingwu, secretary of the CPC Committee for the project, accompanied the inspectors. 

First, CPC Anqing Committee’s secretary Yu Aihua introduced the importance of the project to Chen Shulong and the inspectors in front of the publicity boards. Only two south-north arteries in Anqing go northward, and the other three ones end halfway and are not interconnected. The completion of the North Waihuan Road will connect the five roads, release the pressure in the city’s northern part, and promote the economic development of the Northern New Town Cluster, Yangqiao Cluster, Baizehu Cluster and Eastern Cluster. The project has the strategic significance of accelerating Anqing’s rise and driving Anqing’s long-term development. Zheng Jiaqi, director of Anqing Construction Committee, made a report on the investment, development, design, construction, supervision, overall situation, construction area division, critical points and difficulties on the project. 

Vice governor Chen Shulong also asked questions about the construction and development. Xia Xiujiang answered the questions one by one. The North Waihuan Road Project will link the modules of the city together, and play a critical role in building the “inner network and outer ring” urban road system and driving the urban construction, said Chen. He also hoped the project to be an excellent and benchmark project and win the praise and satisfaction of the people in Anqing.
