UCD scores excellent at badminton competition of the 6th Workers’ Sports Meeting of

Beijing Urban Construction Group Co., Ltd.

On July 10, the 6th Workers’ Sports Meeting of Beijing Urban Construction Group Co., Ltd. was held grandly at Li Ning * Taichung Badminton Hall. The competition was sponsored by the Trade Union of Beijing Urban Construction Group Co., Ltd., and organized by Beijing Urban Construction Design & Development Group Co., Ltd. (UCD). A total 240 players from 35 units of the group took part in the event. Xu Rongming, the member of the Party Standing Committee of the Beijing Urban Construction Group Co., Ltd. Committee of the CPC and the chairman of the Trade Union attended the event and awarded the medals and prizes to the winning players and units. Mi Jianzhou, the chairman of the Trade Union of UCD attended the competition and made a speech at the opening ceremony. 

The competition consisted of eight programs, namely, the men’s and women’s youth group, middle-aged group and elderly group singles, men’s doubles and women’s doubles. After a day of fierce competition, players of UCD won two gold medals, a silver medal, two bronze medals, two the fourth places and six the fifth places. Congratulations to them! Let’s thank them for winning honors for UCD. 

The Sports Meeting themed on “unity, fitness, harmony, progressiveness”. All players carried forward the fine style of struggling, hardworking, tenacious and mutual assistance in competition. The competition improveed friendship of all units, reflected the competitiveness, the high morale of all participants, the spiritual style of unity and struggle of all people of Beijing Urban Construction Group Co., Ltd. The event also fully presented the spiritual feature of all people from the group of pursuing excellence, pioneering and innovation.
