Wang Hanjun attends the Guest of Honor Special Activity of Hainan Province of the Eco Forum Global Annual Meeting 2015

On the afternoon of June 27, Wang Hanjun, general manager of UCD, attended the guest of honor special activity of Hainan Province of the Eco Forum Global Annual Meeting 2015 held in Guiyang. 

Established with approval from the central government, the Eco Forum Global is China’s only state-level international high-end forum centering on ecological civilization. Since 2009, an annual meeting has been held in summer. The meeting is dedicated to building an interdisciplinary, cross-industry and cross-sectoral cooperation bridge, bringing together leaders of the governments, business circle, academia, media and other fields to promote mutual understanding and mutual trust, strengthen cooperation and jointly cope with ecological challenges and achieve sustainable development. 

The three-day event opened on June 27. Du Qinglin, secretary of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and vice chairman of the Central Committee of the CPPCC, made a keynote speech. Elites from the governments, enterprises, universities and media across the world, totaling more than 1,600 people, attended the meeting to discuss the new agenda and new action of the global ecological civilization in the new normal. Hainan Province, guest of honor of the forum, held the special activity themed on “Blue Territory, Eco Hainan” on the afternoon of June 27. Chen Min’er, governor of Guizhou Province, Qin Rupei, executive vice governor of Guizhou, Liu Cigui, governor of Hainan Province, and Lu Junhua, vice governor of Hainan Province, and directors of the relevant departments, cities and counties and parks, and enterprise representatives, attended the event. Wang Hanjun attended the activity as the invited enterprise representative. 

Liu Cigui delivered a keynote speech “Tap the comparative advantages of Hainan, build an eco-friendly industrial system”. He briefly introduced the natural, geographic and investment advantages of Hainan Province. He pointed out that priority will be given to the 12 industries, including Internet, health care and conference and exhibition industry. A green, low-carbon and inclusive Hainan is rising. He cordially invited entrepreneurs and people with lofty ideals to make investment in, start business or cooperation in Hainan Province. He said that the governments at all levels of Hainan will carry forward the “mercantile pro-business” service concepts, work hard to fully support investors to develop, succeed and realize mutual benefit and win-win results with the best policy, best services and best environment. Then Lun Junhua introduced the main investment promotion industries and projects and relevant support policies of Hainan.    

During the event, Wang promoted UCD and introduced the construction projects that UCD has undertaken in Hainan. In the future, the company will continuously take part in construction of Hainan and make new and greater contributions for the prosperity and development of the province.
