Zhao Yucheng wins national bronze award for voluntary blood donation

In accordance with the Law of the People's Republic of China on Blood Donation and the Measures of the People’s Republic of China for Commendations and Awards for Voluntary Blood Donation (amended in 2014), the National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People’s Republic of China, the Red Cross Society of China and the Department of Health of PLA's General Logistics Department jointly started the 2012-2013 national program for commendations and awards for voluntary blood donation and established the evaluation group for it. 

The evaluation group made the preliminary examination and review of the lists of candidates (including eligible units and individuals) nominated by local authorities and then informed the local authorities of the review results for verification. The final results were that: 206,488 units and individuals won the Award for Contribution for Voluntary Blood Donators; 33,605 won the gold award; 40,398 won the silver award; 132,485 won the bronze award.

Zhao Yucheng, who has donated blood voluntarily for more than 20 times in the past years, won the National Bronze Award for Voluntary Blood Donators.
