 UCD initiated 2015 Design Quality Action completely

 

UCD 2015 Design Quality Action initiation meeting was held recently. Deputy Chief Engineer Yang Xingshan presided over the meeting. Nearly 40 people including Wang Hanjun, General Manager, Yang Xiuren, Chief Engineer, deputy chief-engineers from the institutes and corporation, and leaders from the technical quality department, technical quality office, Beijing Subway General Department and nonlocal institutes attended the meeting on site or through video.  

The 2015 Initiation on Quality first began with Yang Xingshan, Deputy Chief Engineer’s introduction on the necessity and overall thinking of this action. Yang indicated that the company is in the process of rapid development and upgrading after its IPO, all efforts should be made to ensure technical support and quality guarantee. The action aims to strengthen and carry out the company’s technical and quality management regulations and requirements, and to improve the design quality and the quality awareness of technical professionals.

Yang Xiuren, Chief Engineer brought forward four requirements to the action. Firstly, as quality is the life of enterprise, improving the design quality and the quality awareness of technical professionals is of primary importance at present. Secondly, the quality action should reach the intended effect. All quality measures for the design process should be stringently observed and monitored. Thirdly, the quality action should be rolled out in combination with the company’s production, technical services and inspection. Fourthly, leaders of professional and regional institutes are expected to understand, to attach more attention to and to support this action. 

At last, Wang Hanjun, General Manager delivered an important speech. Wang pointed out that Quality is of the greatest importance to an enterprise whose rapid development depends on the quality and services recognized by markets and customers. Wang put forth four requirements to the action. Firstly, he hoped the participants could understand the spiritual essence of the action and carry it out strictly. Secondly, the quality action should reach the planned goals and the people’s awareness of quality and responsibilities should be improved. Thirdly, quality management accountability system and other relevant regulations should be further improved to strengthen quality management force. Fourthly, various measures should be carried out simultaneously to improve quality perfection of design products.
