Research shouldered by UCD under the National Sci-tech Support Plan during the 12th Five-Year Plan Period checked and accepted

Recently, the Ministry of Education checked the project of “Research on Key Technologies for Security Control of Subway Projects and Related Application Demonstration” under the National Sci-tech Support Plan. The Research on Fire Control Technologies for Operating Subway Projects shouldered by UCD as a sub-project of the “Research and Development of Technologies and Equipment for Disposal and Control of Sudden Disasters (Fire, Explosion and Earthquake) during Subway Operation” was checked and accepted. Wang Yiran, deputy chief engineer of the company, attended related meeting as the person in charge of the research. The expert panel consists of six academicians including Qian Qihu, head of the panel, Zhou Fulin, Sun Yongfu, Liu Renhuai, Du Yanliang and Gong Xiaonan, as well as other five authoritative experts in this field. The expert panel believes that the company fulfilled all the tasks set when the project was approved and made innovative research achievements with great significance for wide application. 

The research lasted for three years. UCD made the following achievements through a lot of surveys, tests and argumentations: first, a patent, which is used for single-point fixed fire precontrol device for electrical projects of subways; second, copyright concerning the software for the fire monitoring and alarming system for electric appliances of subways; third, editing of Design Guide for Fire Control of Subway Station Structure; fourth, preparation of subject report on research on technologies for disaster control of operating subway projects; fifth, three academic papers published domestically and one academic paper published internationally.
