The Adjustment to Beijing New Airport Line Planning Scheme Passed Expert Review

Beijing Municipal Planning Commission held “Expert Review on Adjustment to Beijing New Airport Line Planning Scheme” recently. The meeting invited experts to form an expert panel. The leaders and representatives of the municipal planning commission, Beijing Infrastructure Investment Co., Ltd., Beijing Rail Transit Construction and Management Co., Ltd., Beijing Mass Transit Railway Operation Co., Ltd., Beijing MTR Corporation Limited, Beijing Urban Planning and Design Institute and Beijing Transportation Research Center were present at the meeting. 

At the meeting, the experts carefully read through related documents and materials, listened to the report of Jiang Chuanzhi of the company on the adjustment to Beijing new airport line planning scheme, made in-depth exchange and discussion with related organizations and finally formed review opinions of the expert panel. The expert panel thinks: this adjustment to the planning scheme conducts in-depth research and implementation on the route and station schemes in key sections on the basis of the original planning scheme. The proposed adjustment scheme is the optimization and deepening of the original planning scheme and reasonable.  

The successful holding of this expert review on the adjustment to the planning scheme is a new milestone to the initial work of the new airport line and provides a basis and guarantee for the approval of the new airport line planning scheme and the work in next stage.
