Golden autumn coming again, chrysanthemum fragrance is spreading everywhere in Beijing International Flower Port. No.6 Design Institute organizes the "golden October full with flowers" visit and fitness activity. Over 30 employees and Dong Gengran, the general consultant of design group and Cheng Weilie, chairman of the labor union of Beijing Architectural Design Institute attend the event.

Beijing International Flower Port is situated in Shunyi District, located in the west of Muyan Road, north of the Hongsi Village, and south of Libei Road, covering an area of 6,000 mu (four square kilometers). Throughout the process of fitness activity, the equipment discipline of No.6 Design Institute visited the high-end smart greenhouse heating ventilation and air conditioning systems, lighting systems and intelligent ones, plumbing and fire protection systems. Meanwhile, they conducted long distance walking in the Flower Port while enjoying the colorful chrysanthemum exhibition.

The Flower Port has advanced rainwater harvesting facilities, namely Magic Flower Lake, covering an area of 70 mu. The greenhouse roof is composed by lots of small units, which can be automatically open and closed; insulation layer is installed on the north wall, and intelligent controlling system covers all the greenhouse; its heating means use the optimized combinations of ground source heat pump, water source heat pump, geothermal step utilization plus gas-fired peak load boilers. This heating method is the first application in agricultural production.

Look! Romantic chrysanthemum; go! Start sailing; smell! Floral fragrance; listen! Birds sing. About 1,200 mu of plants, full and diverse chrysanthemums exhibition, and exquisite and various unique design let us put aside tiredness for a moment.

Colorful chrysanthemums and seasonal flowers form colorful flower ocean this year. It seems that people enter the party of colors. Streamer horse, symphony maze, and earth flowers...... Each theme exhibition is full of momentum. Peacock, dragon, peach, and pavilion and all other kinds of patterns are spelled by chrysanthemum, where people can see so many beautiful scenes, which can be described as “eyes are full of flowers and everywhere is the flower shadows." There is not only a large majestic landscape art, but also little delicate landscape model. In a view of red flowers and green grass, the classical courtyard is hidden in the place where pine is accompanied with chrysanthemum and water mirrors mountains; beside the sparkling Magic Flower Lake, the old waterwheel rotates slowly, and Dutch windmill revolves silently.

In the fitness activities in Flower Port, all involved members breathe the fresh air, and walk at a brisk pace strolling in the sea of ​​flowers. They sometimes make trot fitness and sometimes photograph flowers. This activity provides a good opportunity for employees to enjoy a rare relaxing time apart from busy work and adjust their mood and state of mind, thus they can do better at work and in life!
