Suzhou Tramcar Industrial Complex

On October 26, the establishment ceremony of Suzhou Modern Tramcar Industrial Complex was held in Suzhou. The company’s General Manager Wang Hanjun as a representative of the initiators was present and spoke at the ceremony. Xu Qian, the General Manager of General Project Contracting Department, and Nie Yingjie, the General Manager of East China Institute accompanied. 

Suzhou Modern Tramcar Industrial Complex was jointly initiated and established by Beijing Urban Construction Design & Development Group Co., Limited, Zhongyifeng Urban Rail Transit Construction Co., Ltd., SND Tramcar Consulting Ltd., China Railway Siyuan Survey and Design Group Co., Ltd., Suzhou CSR Rail Transit Vehicle Co., Ltd., East China Tramcar Design & Research Co., Ltd., Zhongyifeng Urban Infrastructure Investment Co., Ltd. and other leading enterprises in the industry. It will develop a national first-rate tramcar industrial cluster through the joint development of famous enterprises in the industry. 

General Manager Wang Hanjun made a speech. He said: this strategic cooperation is a good try for the development of Chinese modern tramcar industry and will lay a solid foundation for the healthy development of the industry and for the co-win of multiple parties. In the future, we will make the best use of this broad industrial platform, give full play to the superimposed effect of fund, talent, technology, equipment and other resource allocation advantages and jointly develop a model of win-win cooperation. 

As an initiative in China, Suzhou Modern Tramcar Industrial Complex will set up a rail transit development platform focusing on modern tramcars and provide professional service throughout the process covering construction investment and financing, design, consultation, R&D, construction, manufacturing, marketing, installation, commissioning and operation of urban rail transit. In the future, the Complex will apply PPP (Public-Private-Partnership) model, integrate the resources on the upstream and downstream of domestic tramcar industry, play the advantage of industrial clustering and integration, introduce and apply foreign and domestic cutting-edge technologies, cultivate the ability of R&D and innovation of science and technology, promote progress of science and technology by application, support industrial development by technology, lead the development and expansion of the tramcar industry and make greater contribution to the development of modern tramcar undertakings!
