   The company officially set up a photography association – Beidajie Photography Commune

 

On December 5, 2014, the company held an inaugural meeting of employee photography association. General Manager Wang Hanjun and Party Secretary Li Guoqing unveiled the nameplate of the association. Aiming at “carrying forward corporate culture of BJUCD, demonstrating the works designed by the employees and the charms of the employees, enhancing communication and understanding of employees and promoting improvement and progress of photographic skills”, the association will actively take part in various activities, go to the grass roots, take more photos of the architectural works of the company and the employees who are dedicated to the company, keep good moments, retain beautiful instants, be united as one, pioneering and innovative, create more, better and greater works, temper and improve itself in practice and record the development of the company. 

Photography is one of the favorite spare-time activities of the employees. They have longed for establishment of a photography association for a long time. Following the development and expansion of the company, the establishment of a photography association has become a need for carrying forward corporate culture, actively publicizing the enterprise and shaping corporate image. 

After the meeting, Professor Lou Qingxi from Tsinghua University provided training for trainees. Mr. Lou Qingxi graduated from Department of Architecture, Tsinghua University in 1952 and ever learnt from Mr. Liang Sicheng. He is mainly engaged in the research of architectural history and theories. After the entry of the 1980s, he shifted his research focus of architecture to vernacular architecture. He has been to all parts of China and photographed and saved some local buildings. On the day, he presented an interesting lesson of photography of ancient buildings, opened the horizon of the trainees and inspired their thinking.
