MOHURD’s Urban Rail Transit Engineering Investment Estimation Indexes Released

 

Recently, the Urban Rail Transit Engineering Investment Estimation Indexes (ZYA3-122024) (hereinafter referred to as The Indexes) revised by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MOHURD) and coedited by UCD has been officially released and will be implemented as of July 1st, 2024. The released Indexes will better meet the needs for the compilation of proposals on relevant construction projects and for the investment estimation of feasibility study reports, which favors the reasonable determination and control of urban rail transit engineering investment and is beneficial to the improvement of investment effect.

As the designer of Beijing Subway Line 1, first subway line of China, as well as a major formulator of design standards for China’s urban rail transit industry, UCD gave full play to its advantages by virtue of its solid engineering design experience, seasoned technological accumulation and rich data resources, worked meticulously in harmony with all other compiling units and completed the revision of the Indexes successfully.

The Indexes has been compiled based on the national standards for rail transit project design, construction inspection rules as well as active national product standards, quality assessment standards and safety operation rules, with reference to industrial and local standards and representative engineering design, construction rules and other material and in line with such related data as representative and typical construction drawings and construction schemes used by major cities and some regions in recent years and, in the wake of analysis and calculation.

The Indexes applies to the newly built and expanded urban rail transit projects (exclusive of maglev, monorail and tramcar projects). Urban railroad projects can refer to the Indexes. The Indexes is inapplicable to the urban rail transit maintenance or renovation of partial urban rail transit renovation.
